Derby County will face their second pre-season assignment of the summer this weekend when they tackle Hertha Berlin at Pride Park.
Fresh from beating Bradford City 2-0 at the weekend, Rams fans are eagerly anticipating their next friendly which kicks off at 4pm. New signings Conor Hourihane, James Chester and David McGoldrick are all expected to feature after sitting out the clash at Valley Parade.
That was because they had only signed for the club last Wednesday meaning there was only short preparation time between their arrival and the game itself.
But interim boss Liam Rosenior confirmed after Saturday’s game that the trio will be involved against Hertha which adds more depth and talent to the squad he can choose from.
Derby County will continue their preparations for the upcoming 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season on Saturday afternoon with a pre-season friendly at home to German side Hertha Berlin (4pm kick-off).
Joe Wildsmith, Tom Barkhuizen, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, James Chester, Conor Hourihane, David McGoldrick, Haydon Roberts, James Collins, Scott Loach and Kwaku Oduroh are set to play some part at Pride Park Stadium after joining the club this summer.

success at Bradford City following only two training sessions with the Derby squad, while striker Collins, goalkeeper Loach and defender Oduroh penned deals earlier this week.
Midfielder Krystian Bielik was also absent at Bradford after sitting out the start of pre-season whilst recovering from a minor knee problem sustained whilst on international duty with Poland in June.
Derby could once again have a few free agents featuring in the matchday squad, as well as a handful of players from the Under-21 squad.
