Bolton Wanderers are back in action this evening and have the second match of their pre-season schedule when taking on Atherton Collieries.
The Trotters visit the Skuna Stadium this evening as they continue their preparations for the League One campaign.
Ian Evatt took his side to Longridge Town over the weekend for the first match of the club’s pre-season campaign and saw his side come from behind to win 3-1.
Several debuts were handed out over the weekend, giving Wanderers fans their first glimpses of Joel Dixon, Josh Sheehan,
George Johnston, Will Aimson, Amadou Bakayoko and Xavier Amaechi getting minutes on the pitch.
The game at the Mike Riding Ground was also the first game Wanderers fans were able to watch their team in action since mid-March 2020 – and supporters are poised to see their side in the flesh once more this evening.
