Though this will technically be the fourth time Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have been scheduled to clash this year, it is actually only their second one-on-one contest.

Previously, Lesnar beat Lashley, Big E, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins at Day 1 to win the WWE Championship, before dropping it back to The All Mighty at the Royal Rumble. The Beast Incarnate then won it back at Elimination Chamber after Lashley suffered a shoulder injury and was forced to withdraw.

That makes their win-loss records against each other hazy, particularly as Lesnar didn’t beat Lashley at Day 1. If anything, The All Mighty has the better performance record on paper.

However, the only way he’ll beat The Beast this time is if WWE has plans to stretch this out all the way to WrestleMania 39 and give Lesnar the win there.

When in doubt, go with Lesnar winning. His track record of 53 wins, one draw and 18 losses since 2012 speaks for itself.

After Scarlett’s interference at Extreme Rules, the steel cage should keep her out of the mix, allowing Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross to throw down on a more even playing field.

While that doesn’t mean Scarlett won’t still find a way to get involved, someone else could climb the cage and cost The Scottish Warrior, or Kross might just get the job done clean. This may be McIntyre’s match to lose for storyline purposes.

It is never a certainty that the hero will get the ultimate victory in any feud. Often, they just lose and move on to something else. But if this is the potential end of this story, the Scot winning would give it some finality.

Also, with Survivor Series coming up, it can be assumed The Bloodline will need opponents for one of the WarGames matches. And McIntyre has been a steady adversary for Roman Reigns and his crew.

If the Scot lost to Kross and went straight into wanting to join the anti-Bloodline group, he would have less credibility.

As tough as The Brawling Brutes are, it’s highly unlikely anyone in The Bloodline will drop their belts prior to WrestleMania next April.

It would be odd for WWE to decide to pull the rug out on The Usos, give the championship to Ridge Holland and Butch, and then put the titles back on Jimmy and Jey soon after. That might be reserved for another tag team title match on the card instead.

If Sheamus weren’t taking time off for his wedding, it might have featured Solo Sikoa and The Usos against all three of the Brutes in a six-man tag team match instead.

Always bet on The Usos until Sami Zayn exits The Bloodline and reforms his tag team with Kevin Owens, which is probably months away.
